Here at AdJack we are troubled by the “guaranteed” terminology, but it seems to be standard language among the sweepstakes community. We think the word “guarantee” is misleading because it implies there is no guarantee that prizes will be paid. This is not the case. Common use of the term “guaranteed prize” actually refers to a prize being awarded upon conclusion of the sweepstakes. For example, Powerball isn’t guaranteed. Like AdJack, Powerball prizes are only awarded when someone matches the winning combination.
Frankly, we are a bit perplexed by the sweepstakes community’s preference for guaranteed prizes. Players seem to think their chance of winning is better when the prize is guaranteed. This is not necessarily true, and often can’t be determined because the odds for guaranteed sweepstakes are ultimately determined by the number of entries, which can’t be known until the promotion ends. What does this mean to you? Every time someone submits an entry for a guaranteed sweepstakes, your chance of winning is diminished. Contrast this with Powerball or AdJack where the odds are fixed. When you tell a friend about AdJack, your chances of winning aren’t lessened; they are exactly the same. Also, since the odds are fixed, each time you submit a number, your chance of winning improves.
We choose this format for flexibility. AdJack’s goal is to increase the MadJack prize each week. The only way to accomplish this is by starting a new sweepstakes each week. We also choose this structure to increase the opportunity for you to win prizes.
The drawing is at 6:00pm ET every Friday.
Yes, each sweepstake expires Friday at 6:00pm ET; however, AdJack immediately begins a new sweepstake game for the upcoming week. The only carry-over is the MadJack prize, which grows each week that it isn’t won.
If you win, we can’t contact you unless we have contact information which you submit as a member.
Up to eight times per sweepstakes in a seven-day period. Now, pay attention here: You can enter the weekly sweepstakes once each day Saturday through Thursday. On Friday immediately after the 6 p.m. drawing, you can enter numbers for the week’s new game until midnight, 12 a.m. The following Friday until about 6:00 p.m., you can make a final sweepstakes entry for that week’s contest. Yes, that means you can enter numbers twice on Friday. Those numbers are for the same week’s contest, one at the beginning, and one at the end. Two on Friday plus one on each of the other six days comes to eight entries, total.
The numbers are randomly generated within the ranges specified in the official sweepstakes rules.
Yes. After you watch five videos, a bright yellow submit cue will pop up in the upper right corner of the home page. The submit cue will prompt you to enter your numbers or change them to any lucky numbers of your choice within the winning number ranges.
The numbers you entered for the last three sweepstakes are displayed on your profile.
The results of the weekly drawing are on the right side of the sweepstakes page.
The odds of winning weekly prizes are published in the official rules.
No! And you should never play the same number twice in a week.
We love NY and FL and really want to include the 3rd and 4th most populous states. We spent a lot of time trying to get residents of both states included, but bonding requirements in each state, combined with a weekly sweepstakes, make it impractical for us to include NY and FL residents at this time. But we’re working on it. We want winners in every state! Hang in there, NY and FL. We’ll include you as soon as we can.
Absolutely; however, you must use the mailing address for your home in the state where Adjack is not prohibited.
Every country has different rules governing sweepstakes. Adjack has only sought compliance with U.S. rules.
As long as you have a valid SSN and a U.S mailing address you can play from anywhere in the world
It’s true we really want to give away money – it’s part of our business model, essential to our marketing campaign and keeps you coming back.
No.
Unfortunately, you are disqualified.
You can read about Adjack winners on the sweepstakes page.
Not much. Verify name, age and citizenship; complete a publicity release form (except where prohibited by law); complete a W-9; and patiently wait for your check to arrive. That’s it!
Yep, Uncle Sam benefits when you win.
Yes! You might win this week and again next week, so keep watching those commercials.
It’s easy. Visit AdJack.tv a few minutes prior to 6:00pm ET. If you are watching commercials or otherwise poking around the site before the live drawing, be sure to refresh the homepage a few minutes prior to the drawing. If you want to submit a number for the drawing, you must log in. When prompted, enter a number between 1 and 35. The numbers used in the winning combination are based on the order in which they were submitted.
Conditionally, yes: If the number you submit immediately prior to the drawing is one that makes it into the winning sequence, and if that number is one from your week’s entries, your odds of winning are improved because that’s one number you know is a match. For example, if the number 28 is in your week’s numbers, and if you submit the number 28 and it turns up in the winning sequence, then 28 is a winning number, and it’s only up to fate to match four more numbers for you to win the CrackaJack or MoJack, or five more numbers for the MadJack.
The last number (on the green ball) is always randomly generated by AdJack.
Because the last time you entered the sweepstakes was after 12:00am ET. You can see the last time you submitted an entry on your profile.
Hmm, sometimes this is a vexing problem, but most of the time it’s probably because you don’t have the latest Flash player installed in your browser. If you see a gray and red icon in the upper left corner of the homepage, you probably have a dated Flash player. Simply click on the icon and follow the prompts. In the few remaining cases, the problem is probably related to a corrupted Flash file, which is usually indicated by a viewer that doesn’t have a control panel or slide bar.
Our business model is based on collecting revenue each time a video is viewed, and we don’t think you want to foot the bill.
Yes. Look below the right hand corner of the video viewer on the home page where you will see the rate icon next to four stars. Indicate your preference by selecting one of the four stars.
Sure. We want to know what you like. Please send your suggestions to Jack.
Yes. Hit the save button under the viewer anytime you like the video in the viewer. The video will be saved in your profile.
